A long way to reach the island,
and to be a Malagasy

Madagascar is an island. The people who inhabit this island are called Malagasy. They originated from different part of the world. Some of the Malagasy have their ancestors from some part of Asia and India, and as for the others, they have their ancestors from Africa and some Arab countries.
Even though they do not have one common origin, they speak one language, the Malagasy language, and they share one culture which is the respect for the ancestors or the dead.
The more time you travel around, the closer to the people you are. You will have a good experience with the Malagasy, especially with the children. You will also learn about their culture and history, and how they manage their community.
